The program will be released approximately one (1) month prior to the meeting, at which time, all participants will be able to see the speakers and structure of the event.

The program is still being finalized. As you can appreciate, we have received many requests to accommodate certain topics and organizations. We are weighing all requests equally but are not in a position to comment at this stage as to the final themes and topics.

ABUJA ACCORD

The release of the final version of any declaration, if one is produced, will remain at the discretion of the ministers in attendance. This is a standard process for intergovernmental meetings given that the objective will be to achieve a consensus position.

Consultations with participant governments remains ongoing.

The finalization of a declaration, if one is produced, remains an intergovernmental process. It will be at the discretion of individual participant governments if they seek additional non-state actor input.

ABSTRACTS & SIDE EVENTS

The abstract process for oral and poster presentations has already closed. Those who submitted an abstract will be notified of a decision at the end of April.

A call for side events will soon be released. As you might expect, except for plenary sessions, ministerial meetings are closed to members of the general public. This includes civil society, private industry and intergovernmental organizations. For further details on the program, please see the above response.
LOGISTICS

Registrations will close two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the meeting.

There are no registration fees. Accordingly, there are no exemptions or waivers.
INVITATIONS TO COUNTRIES

This is a ministerial meeting. Accordingly, the expected level of representation is minister-level.

Details on speakers and invited participants will be made known when the program is released.

No. Governments are responsible for determining the size and scope of their official delegations.

This is not a question but a statement. It is beyond the scope of the organizing committee to direct or comment on which government agencies may or may not be invited.
